Wallet Friendly Food & Drink Deals in the Western Suburbs
Eating out has gotten expensive, but there are still some excellent deals if you know where and when to look. I searched Phoenixville, Collegeville, Chester Springs, Downingtown, Exton and several Main Line communities to find recurring food and drink specials that actually feel like a bargain.
This list includes happy hours, lunch combinations, wing nights, discounted entrées and meal-and-drink packages.
Prices and availability were checked in July 2026. Restaurant specials can change, so it is always a good idea to confirm before making a special trip.
Phoenixville
Sedona Taphouse
Sedona's Monday promotion may offer the biggest savings on this entire list. During lunch and dinner, the flat-iron steak and salmon entrées are 50% off. The restaurant also donates $1 from every promotional plate to a local charity. On Wednesdays, most bottles of wine are half price, with reserve bottles discounted by $20. Dine-in restrictions and other exclusions apply.
Il Granaio
Il Granaio has one of the most impressive food-focused happy hours in Phoenixville. It runs Tuesday through Friday from 4 to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4:30 p.m. The weekend happy hours are a nice touch!
The entire happy-hour food menu is $10, with choices including homemade meatballs, arancini, calamari, mussels, filet-mignon sliders, pork belly and several pasta dishes. Drinks include $4 beers, $8 glasses of wine and $10 specialty cocktails.
Rivertown Taps
For lunch, Rivertown Taps offers a particularly good $15 pasta-and-salad combination Wednesday through Sunday from opening until 4 p.m. You receive a half portion of pasta and your choice of a side Caesar or beet salad.
Happy hour runs Wednesday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. and includes 20% off the self-pour tap wall, $10 classic cocktails, discounted appetizers and selected half-portion pastas for half price. Wednesday also brings 12 wings for $12, while Thursday is half-price, half-portion pasta night.
Great American Pub
The pub has the following special nights: Monday $7 brick-oven pizza. Tuesday $10 Philly cheesesteak. Wednesday $8 wings. Thursday $5 off any beef, turkey or vegan burger.
Mont Clare, Oaks and Collegeville
Lock 29
Lock 29's Wednesday wing night is one of the least expensive specials in the region. Starting at 5 p.m., wings are just 50 cents each. It is a simple deal, but it is hard to beat if wings are what you are after.
Troubles End Brewing
Troubles End has a different deal almost every weekday. Monday features a $10 single-patty burger and house beer. Tuesday brings a $10 fried chicken sandwich and $4 tankards, while Wednesday includes half-price wings and $5 cask beer. Thursday's special is a $15 cheesesteak.
All of the weekday specials are available for dine-in only.
P.J. Whelihan's in Oaks

Chester Springs
Liberty Union
Liberty Union's Wednesday burger night is one of the best complete-meal deals on the list. From 5 to 9 p.m., a classic cheeseburger with pub fries and pickle chips is $10. Specialty burgers are $12, and the offer is available for indoor dining.

Downingtown
Station Taproom
Station Taproom offers one of the best inexpensive food-and-beer combinations around. Happy hour runs Tuesday through Friday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., with $5 select pints and $7 pulled-pork sandwiches.
You can also receive $1 off wine by the glass, $2 off selected cocktails and $2 off small plates.
Victory Brewing Company
Victory's weekday happy hour runs Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. Guests receive $2 off drafts, liquor pours, wine and shareable food items.
It is not as dramatic as some of the half-price deals on this list, but it is a dependable option with a large beer selection.
Exton
Ron's Original Bar and Grille
Ron's offers happy hour Monday through Friday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the bar. Its happy-hour food selections generally range from $7 to $9 and may include mussels, wings and Ron's signature oval flatbreads.
This is one of the better Exton choices when discounted food is more important to you than drink specials alone.
The Pour House
The Pour House runs happy hour Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 p.m., with discounted cocktails, beer and selected appetizers.
The standout is Buck-a-Shuck Wednesday, when oysters are available for $1 each. That makes it one of several excellent oyster deals in the region.
Paoli
Main Line Tavern
Main Line Tavern has one of the most generous drink specials anywhere on the Main Line. Happy hour runs every day from 4 to 6 p.m., with beer, wine, whiskey and cocktails all half price.
The food menu includes $1 oysters and clams, along with several $10 dishes such as Caesar salad, wedge salad, French onion soup, truffle fries and a giant pretzel. Happy-hour pricing is not offered on major holidays.
TJ's Restaurant and Drinkery
TJ's offers $2 off its designated happy-hour beers Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 3 to 5 p.m.
The best part may be Sunday, when the beer discount runs from 1 to 8 p.m. That is one of the longest recurring happy-hour windows I found.
Berwyn
Will's & Bill's
Will's & Bill's offers an excellent combination of inexpensive drinks and seafood. Happy hour runs Tuesday through Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m.
House-brewed craft pints are $5, house wine is $7 and house martinis, Manhattans and Cosmopolitans are $7. Fresh oysters are just $1 each.

City Works offers happy hour Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. The food menu includes $6 bar bites such as maple-bacon tots, pretzel bites, cheese curds, popcorn chicken and fried pickles.

Tips for Stretching Your Dining Dollar
Specials change with the seasons and sometimes get paused around holidays, so a quick call ahead or a glance at a restaurant's Instagram or Facebook page can save you a wasted trip. Following your favorite local spots on social media is also the easiest way to catch one-off promotions that never make it onto a website. And if you haven't already, our guide to the best happy hours in the western suburbs pairs well with this list for even more ways to eat and drink well without overspending.
